He noted that entire medical institutions are being transformed into COVID hospitals in Blagoevgrad and Plovdiv, additional beds will be opened in the lung dispensary in Shumen, which has been closed, and the capacity of hospital beds in the Burgas region is also increasing.
During the online session, Prime Minister Borissov placed particular emphasis on creating such coordination in medical institutions that for every COVID-19 patient in need of hospital treatment, it must be provided. Borissov also demanded on Monday in Varna, with absolutely all safety requirements, that an opportunity be created to donate blood plasma from coronavirus patients, which would help new patients. During the debate, Associate Professor Atanas Mangarov expressed his opinion on the positively verified quarantine measures for Bulgarians with coronavirus and their contact persons.
