Yesterday, the 59-year-old man was admitted to the intensive care unit of Blagoevgrad Hospital in critical condition, which does not allow his transfer to Sofia. It is unclear at this time why Peovski took the poison.

However, the big win only brought him trouble. A few months after winning the jackpot, Rumen Peovski was committed to a psychiatric hospital for three months at the request of the District Attorney for attacking neighbors with a lawn mower and a shotgun.
Neighbors say the man abused alcohol and became aggressive, and as a cover his friend took him to court. The man claims half of the winnings, as the two of them have been playing with common numbers for years, and he also paid 60 stotinki, which is half of the winning receipt.
Rumen Peovski lives only after the death of his mother. His wife and two children have been abroad for years.
