NORAD monitors the movement of the magic sleigh long awaited by young and old

Santa went around the world to give presents. The good old man left his house and got on the sleigh to visit the children who were waiting for him.

Since 1955, the North American Air and Space Command, known by the acronym NORAD, has been monitoring its movement.

Santa left in a sleigh to distribute gifts.

The tradition of tracking down Santa Claus began in the 1950s, when a store in Colorado Springs made a typo in the North Pole phone number in a newspaper ad. The first call came from a girl who contacted the director of the then NORAD. The colonel assures the boy that Santa is on his way, and after more children call the command center, the army adds the new task to their defensive mission.
