“He explained to the woman where her mother’s organs were affected by the incurable disease.”

A medical court is examining a Bulgarian doctor in England for misdiagnosis and disturbing behavior towards a relative of a patient.

Dr. Yordan Radev, who has worked at Peterborough Hospital since 2018, has been charged by the daughter of a terminally ill woman. She claims that he made mistakes and did not provide a care plan for the rest of his mother’s life.

He also invited her to speak about her treatment in a warehouse, where she touched her chest and upper pelvis.

The inspection carried out so far found that there was no sexual connotation in the doctor’s actions, but he wanted to show the location of the organs affected by the disease. However, he had to acknowledge that the mother’s condition was deteriorating and change his treatment plan to one for life.

For this reason, it will be decided next week whether he can continue working as a doctor, or will have to undergo some additional examination and qualification period.

British media report that Yordan Radev came to England in 2008 after working as a doctor in Bulgaria for 7 years.

He gave clear and credible answers during the court. He said that sometimes the Peterborough ward was so busy that he didn’t even have time to go to the bathroom.

The woman, whose name is not reported, who filed a complaint against him, claims that she did so because she does not want Dr. Radev to repeat his actions towards another.
