As of today, in addition to the duties of head coach, I also assume those of General Manager of the CSKA 1948 team. This means much more involvement in the restructuring of the club. I spoke about this issue at my first press conference in front of media representatives.
My work with the first team will continue as before in close collaboration with the coach Yordan Yurukov, the coaching staff and the sports director Kiril Kotev, who know the qualities of the players, as they were directly involved in their selection. At the same time, as CEO, I will be able to deal more deeply with both the control of the training process and the organizational functioning of the club.
I am convinced that with this restructuring, CSKA 1948 will improve its work in the individual units, and the obligations and responsibilities of each will be even clearer. That is the way to go “.
