The tourism industry noticed a great interest in hotels in our country
Travel agents report record interest in native resorts. According to industry data, around 290,000 Bulgarians have managed to merge over the weekend and book a vacation.
The tourism industry has long remembered that interest in native resorts: A total of more than 300,000 compatriots have decided to take a trip this weekend. And only 30,000 of them have chosen abroad. All the others have booked hotels in our country. The good news for tourists is that spa packages are almost 30% cheaper than mid-summer packages. This is another reason why resorts like Hissarya, Velingrad, Sandanski and Ognyanovo are packed these days. At sea, the most popular at the moment are Sozopol, Primorsko, Lozenets and Kiten. Most of the Bulgarians who have chosen abroad have turned to Turkey and Greece.

And the dealers are now making a plan on how to please domestic tourists next summer as well. It is being discussed next year to keep umbrellas cheaper, and families with animals are being considered.
“Our association has proposed to the Minister of Tourism to make changes, since the beaches are reserved areas paid for people with pets so that we can meet the expectations of all tourists,” said Diana Kolchova from the Hoteliers Club.

Forecasts for the winter season also do not follow current trends. Our country is expected to be visited by no more than 350,000 foreign tourists, more than a million and a half in previous years.
