Arda beat Beroe 1-0 as a guest at Stara Zagora and did not allow Dimitar Dimitrov-Hero’s team to come out second in the standings. The only goal in the game was the work of former winner Spas Delev in the 56th minute of the game. Both teams hit a crossbar: Gaius Makuta early in the second half and Petko Ganev shortly after Delev’s goal.
Thus, Arda got his 4th victory since the start of the season and is in 5th place with 17 points, one less than Beroe’s fourth. Lokomotiv Plovdiv leads with 23 points and two games more than Ludogorets (20).
In the first half Beroe had more control of the ball and reached several good positions, but never managed to score. At the same time, Arda played very disciplined defense and rarely made holes in his defensive line.

The image was similar after the break. In the 51st minute, Zarali missed a great opportunity to take the lead after Gayu Makuta broke speed and shot hard with his left foot. However, the ball stopped on the crossbar.
Soon after, Arda took the initiative. In the 56th minute, Svetoslav Kovachev found Spas Delev alone against the hosts’ goalkeeper and the forward, very technically, passed the ball in front of Ganev by 1: 0.
In the 63rd minute, Arda came close to scoring a second goal. After a stir in the penalty area, Beroe Petko Ganev broke free and sent the ball dangerously into the goal. Unfortunately for him, he stopped at the beam.
