Another murder of a black man by police took place in the United States, Reuters and AFP reported.
It took place Monday amid racial tensions in the country, rekindled after the shooting of Jacob Blake, 29, in the northern Wisconsin state of Kenosha.
Dijon Kizi, also 29, was shot and killed by two police officers who tried to stop him in Los Angeles as he was riding a bicycle for violating traffic rules. The man tried to escape and hit one of the policemen in the face during the chase.

Kizi threw down the clothes he was wearing. The two officers saw a semi-automatic pistol between them and then opened fire on the black man, who was killed on the spot.
Relatives of those killed and activists questioned the official version and demanded an independent investigation into the case, BTA reported.
Kizi’s death has sparked protests in Los Angeles, southwestern California, against the killings of blacks by US police.

The issue of racial inequality and police violence in the country was at the center of the campaign for the presidential elections in November.
Recently, law enforcement agencies in the United States kill an average of about 1,000 people a year, DPA notes.
According to a 2016 survey, 52 percent of those killed by police officers in the country are white and 32 percent are black. However, as a proportion of the population, blacks are more than twice as small (of that 32 percent).
