Two people were killed in an accident on I-1 Montana – Vidin. One is in serious condition and four are hospitalized, ODMVR-Montana told FOCUS Radio.
The accident occurred in a frontal collision between a truck and a minibus in the area of the town of Vinishte on the main road E-79. Firefighters, ambulances and traffic police teams were called to the scene. The drivers of the minibus and the truck were taken out with specialized equipment.
The driver of the truck is 52 years old and died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, and the driver of the truck is 66 years old and in serious condition. A 44-year-old passenger who is a Ukrainian citizen died in the van.
Four more passengers from the minibus, who are Russian nationals, are staying at the Montana hospital with a concussion. His condition is life threatening. The minibus passengers are workers at the pipeline sites in the village of Rasovo, Montana region.
