Today, November 8, at 5.30 pm, the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov, the Vice Minister of Health Jeni Nacheva and the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova will give a briefing in the Granite Hall of the Council of Ministers.
From 7.11am (Saturday) in Sofia it is forbidden for minors to visit shopping centers without an adult companion. Teams from diagnostic and counseling centers will be involved in examining patients with milder flu-like symptoms.
To facilitate the work of the teams in the large hospitals in Sofia, the directors of the former polyclinics must establish zones for clinical examinations of patients with flu-like symptoms within a week. A team of doctor, nurse, or lab technician will perform examinations and, if necessary, perform blood tests and an antigen test.
A “green corridor” from 8 am to 10 am is also being introduced for grocery shopping for seniors 65 and older. The measure was ordered by the Sofia Operations Headquarters headed by the mayor of the capital, Yordanka Fandakova.
