“The symbolic meaning of the European Parliament resolution for Bulgaria is that it can no longer trust the recourse that the ruling regime in our country represents Europe in Sofia … The European Union is in a serious crisis and its future is unhappy “. Said this before BNR Prof. Ivo Hristov.
In his words, “the fact that the Bulgarian state was created with the decisive role of Russia creates an inferiority complex, that the general problems of the future Bulgarian must be solved from the outside, and not based on our aspiration”:
“This is a bad mark on our behavior and blocks the potential for Bulgarians to solve their own problems.”
On the “Politically Incorrect” program, Professor Hristov added:
“The problem is not who will win the American elections, the problem is that who wins does not matter. The United States will continue to sting the bitter cup of the cruel internal division of American society, and this will inevitably be reflected on a global scale: Bulgaria is in the gap between geopolitical worlds. And we are in one of our worst states: political, economic, mental. “
Professor Ivo Hristov stressed that Turkey has never renounced its forms of economic, social and power control over the former Ottoman periphery:
“The Turkish elites are not at all unaware of the idea that sooner or later Rumelia will fall at their feet like a ripe apple… They work there methodically, competently in this direction. We are waiting, as we have always hoped, for someone else to come fix us. “
According to Professor Hristov, the BSP can win the following elections if they are fair:
“The most important question, however, is what comes next … As are its people, so are its politicians. Who created the favorable environment with silence, cowardice, stupidity, laziness?
He said there were no illusions about the actual effectiveness of the protests:
“Large masses of the population are in a passive position and wait to see what happens. Active minorities are the ones that change and move the world. Otherwise, there is a social passivity of the enormous mass of the Bulgarian population, alienation from any work public.
