Health Minister Kostadin Angelov, directors of medical institutions and members of the National Operational Headquarters give an extraordinary briefing today at 5:00 p.m. in the Council of Ministers for representatives of the media.
Highlight:
“For me, the most important thing is to protect people’s lives. Every life matters. We cannot afford to lose human lives. Many people have died. I will not be the minister to hand over the efforts of the doctors. We need to take new measures. I proposed to the Prime Minister of Bulgaria that they come into force on Friday November 27. They will be discussed in the Council of Ministers and we will make a decision.
I proposed the following measures:
Extension of the epidemic situation until the end of March 2021
Suspension of attendance at all universities, schools, nurseries and kindergartens, as well as any extracurricular activity.
Suspension of all collective sporting events, congresses, seminars, competitions and organized private celebrations
Continuation of the ban on visiting discos, piano bars and others
Suspension of catering establishments, restaurants, cafes, game rooms, bars and others: they will work only for home deliveries
Suspension of non-food stores, including shopping centers with the exception of pharmacies, banks, insurance companies.
The internal and external excursions are suspended, “Angelov explained.
