JUMP AGAIN: Large numbers of newly infected with COVID-19
As they began to decline, newly reported COVID-19 cases rose again sharply.
There are 4,013 new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria with 20,647 tests performed in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Unified Information Portal at midnight. 19.4 percent of all subjects tested positive.
12,773 of the tests in the last 24 hours were PCR, of which 2,420 were positive. 8,174 rapid antigen tests were performed, of which 1,593 were positive. To date, a total of 2,155,426 tests have been performed.
The confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in our country are currently a total of 350,340, of these, 70,811 are active. 266,091 people were cured, of which 3,996 were registered during the last 24 hours.
There are 10,382 hospitalized patients with a proven coronavirus infection, 763 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.
The doses of vaccines administered are a total of 498,085, and 12,083 people were vaccinated 24 hours a day. According to the Bulgarian National Information System, COVID-19 was found in 12,092 doctors.
The death toll in which the new coronavirus was confirmed was 13,438, with 125 of the cases in the last 24 hours.
