And on December 8, Sofia was arrested for failure to comply with measures against the virus. One of the most striking cases: a hookah bar has opened its doors to 40 people for the student holidays.

The police have carried out a total of more than 1,000 inspections of work establishments on the occasion of student holidays. Only in Sofia last night 7 bars opened with customers. Among them, a hookah bar, which is located in the “Ilinden” market. Despite the ban, the owner of the market told NOVA that he had rented it for the night to a private party, for a private party.

After the party tonight, the hookah bar was closed today. The room was rented only for the specific night. Following the police intervention, the market says they will no longer rent the bar. On the occasion of the party at the market’s hookah bar, several acts were written.

No infractions in the winter centers for student vacations.

“The legal entity has been issued an act for violation of the Health Law. For the manager as well. Illegal storage of tobacco has also been found,” explained Interior Minister Hristo Terziiski.

The highest number of inspections on December 8 took place in Sofia – 360. Since the introduction of the measures, more than 25,000 acts have been prepared for their violation by the police.

“We have only one case for the country, for Plovdiv there is an establishment that works, that is. in Asenovgrad. And in Sofia, 7 violations have been established, for which acts have been drawn up under the Health Law. We have a disciplined society and restaurant owners ”, believes the Minister.
