Not politics, but the pandemic will predetermine the outcome of the April 4 National Assembly elections. This is the conclusion of a sociological survey of the AFIS agency, financed with its funds and carried out in the period from February 12 to 17 among 1000 Bulgarians.
Four political formations are emerging as safe and three more as possible participants in the next parliament, according to AFIS sociologists.
According to those who decided to vote, the “GERB-UDF” political coalition so far maintains its leading position with 25.2%, followed by the “BSP for Bulgaria” coalition with 22.5%.
In third place is Slavi Trifonov’s party “There are such people” with 14.2%, fourth place goes to “MRF” with 11.5% of the votes. Followed by “Democratic Bulgaria”, “Get up! Mutri, out!” and IMRO.
And another detail from the survey: When asked if they would vote, currently 9.8 percent of those surveyed say no and 43.9 percent say they will vote.
As long as the epidemic situation has changed by the time of the vote on April 4, the percentage of non-voters jumps to 12.9 percent, and those who say they will vote drops to 31.7%.
The data comes from a survey carried out by the sociological agency AFIS, financed with its funds and carried out in the period from February 12 to 17 among 1,000 Bulgarians.
