An accident in the Lyulin 8 district of the capital impeded the movement of cars on Pancho Vladigerov Blvd. for hours, reported a Novini.bg reader, who also sent us photos of the crash site.
A child who was crossing incorrectly was run over by the driver of a BMW car. The place has been used for years for a wrong crossing because there is a gap in the railing, the reader notes.

The press center of the Ministry of the Interior confirmed the incident to Novini.bg. From there they specified that the accident occurred shortly after 7 in the afternoon at the intersection of Tsaritsa Yoanna and Pancho Vladigerov boulevards.
Police said that, according to initial information, a 24-year-old man was beaten and taken to hospital after the incident.
So far there is no information about its status.
