A young businessman was detained by economic police officers in Plovdiv, a journalist said. Plovdiv24.bg. The man, who has 2 online sales companies, generated profits but did not pay taxes to the treasury. Employees of the Economic Police Department carried out a thorough inspection of two companies registered by a 28-year-old Plovdiv resident.
Through an online platform, the young entrepreneur sold GPS systems and sent shipments to buyers through a courier company. In the course of an inspection, it was established that only for the 2018-2019 period, companies have avoided the establishment and payment of tax obligations for an amount close to BGN 900,000.
Two addresses were verified on the territory of the Komatevo district, and in one room, separated as a garage cell, the unregulated activity of servicing and repairing the sold navigation systems was carried out. The computer configurations and mobile devices that aided in the criminal activity were seized from the addresses.
Numerous electronic components and spare parts for navigation systems were found in the garage. Witnesses, company employees and owner of the courier company used, were questioned, who recognized the man and indicated that he had hired them in his business. The young man was detained in police custody for 24 hours and work will continue to document the case with the charges.
