A Karlovo woman is one step away from entering the Guinness Book of Records. Rumyana Hristova has the largest collection of sugars in Bulgaria and claims to have the largest collection in the world.
Collect small packages of sugar from 1994. The beginning of the collector’s activity began in her school years in Klisura.
“We had coffee on breaks. I didn’t consume sugar. I collected each sugar in a box and at one point it turned out that a fairly solid amount had been collected, almost a complete collection,” says Rumyana.
The most interesting sugars in his collection are from Italy and Spain.
“The smallest measure 2.5 grams, the largest 10 grams, the most colorful, the most colorful. There are a whole series of landmarks, the theme of butterflies, the theme of cars, the theme of trains, about different themes, ”says Rumyana.
All his family and friends brought him sweets from all over the world. Some of them have pictures of all the presidents of America.
“I owe a large part of my collection to the late Major General Neiko Nenov, who was a Commander of the Land Forces. I really appreciate this, because no matter how many commitments he had, wherever he went, he never forgot to bring sugar,” shares Rumyana .
It stores 16,677 sugars from 68 countries. It communicates with 150 collectors around the world and claims to have the largest collection worthy of Guinness.
