A Tunisian wanted by the French authorities passed through the Kardam border crossing without passing a control, after which he caused an accident in a race with the police. In the end, he was detained in Dobrich for 72 hours, BNR reports.

The District Attorney General Toshevo has initiated a pre-trial process against him with a request to impose the most severe restriction measure “Detention in custody”.

The Tunisian goes through the border checkpoint with a car with a Swiss registration, does not stop to inspect, hits the barrier and continues in the direction of Dobrich. Then he started a career with the police and finally the foreigner crashed and was arrested.

The pre-trial process has been started for two offenses, said General Toshevo District Attorney Yordanka Chaneva. The Tunisian is wanted by the French authorities for having committed a serious crime.

So far, there is no evidence of a connection between the Tunisian citizen and the terrorist attacks in France in recent days.
