Before the start of the game, a sad moment was marked in the history of Man United. Today marks the 63rd anniversary of the Munich tragedy, when eight Red Devils players and a total of 23 people were killed in a plane crash.

In the 43rd minute, an error by David De Gea and Victor Lindelof almost led to a draw. The ball landed on Richardson, who shot into the empty goal, but the angle was small and the Brazilian could not find the outline of the gate.
In the closing seconds of regulation time at halftime, United doubled down after a great goal from Bruno Fernandes. Aaron One-Bissaka received the ball on the right wing and combined with the Portuguese in front of the penalty area, who was not attacked by the Everton players and with a great performance transferred goalkeeper Robin Olsen 2-0.
