Dimitar, Deliana and Nicholas are victims of the most probable and oldest motive for a crime in the world: “love” and jealousy. People close to the victims shared the whole story with Nova Varna.
The serious crime was committed in the center of Varna, on the first floor of a block of flats on Macedonia Street. The basic version is double murder and suicide.
The story begins far back in time. Dimitar Emilov Golemanov is a 40-year-old native of Varna. He did not hide his Russophile leanings at a young age, and when conflict broke out in Ukraine, a volunteer ranger enlisted in the Donetsk Republic separatists. He has also participated in missions in Asian countries. There he acquired military experience and knowledge of weapons. In the Varna circles he repeatedly expressed his knowledge of military affairs and showed his interview to a French channel about his participation in the fighting. Separately, it is trying to develop business with two companies, and in 2019 it registered the association “Varna Eco Park”, in which Deliana also participates. Their business did not develop and the association submitted a proposal to the Varna municipality, which was rejected after a protest by residents of the Galata district.
His relationship with Deliana began more than 4 years ago. It is in full swing all the time, with many sections and meetings. The essence of the problems that he tells his friends is the double orientation of his girlfriend in an intimate aspect and the many different partners. In one of the stories, after another scandal about 3 years ago, Mitko shaves Deliana’s head.
In another story, his personal achievements are posted on a well-known adult site and made available to the yellow media. Deliana is dedicated and focused on numerology, astrology and other “sciences”. He has also tried journalism on local sites. She has participated as a model in various initiatives and events.
The whole story that led to the fatal accident began in the summer. Mitko and Deliana live in the Sea Garden in Varna for rent. Mitko joins as an investor in a famous nightclub with two other partners. After the failure of the club, many debts remain with Mitko, which he could not collect. As he puts it in front of his friends:
“I am getting closer to the wounds of summer.” Shortly after, another separation with Deliana followed. Mitko told his friends several times, “I don’t want to live anymore.”
After about 2-3 months they come together again. Nicholas intervenes here. Nicholas is a Cypriot of Swedish descent who is friends with Mitko. He and he began developing a party concept during the private villa pandemic. Niko, as his friends call him, has strong computer skills and is involved in website development and internet marketing for the campaign. The apartment in which the fatal accident occurred was used for operations related to activities and parties. Niko also has a Bulgarian girlfriend who helps him in his endeavor. The night before the fatal incident, there was a signal to the police to make noise. Dimitar Golemanov was present at the scene in front of the block and then returned. Golemanov received a call from a relative that Deliana had been in Niko’s apartment for two days. The correspondence begins between Niko, Deliana and Mitko, which strongly provokes the attacker. In the morning, Dimitar Golemanov stormed the property with two weapons: an automatic pistol and a semi-automatic. Find Deliana with another girl and Niko, who is sleeping. A brief conversation followed, after which he shot first Deliana, then Niko, and himself. The second girl, who was present and saw the entire incident, fled in panic from the apartment.
Dimitar Golemanov leaves behind a 10-year-old daughter of his ex-wife.
During the operation carried out by the police in the apartment of Mitko’s grandmother, which is located a little below the fatal place, they found: a submachine gun and three pistols, one of which was a combat pistol, with erased numbers.
