Does Henri Kulev give interviews?
As much as we provoke the famous artist and our faithful author with words, as much as we try to get him to share “wise thoughts”, he responds with his wise drawings.
He looks mockingly over his glasses and aha to remind us of the rule of the favorite newspapers of photographers and hated by writers: an image (in this case a drawing) costs up to a thousand words.
We had no idea how we looked from the side.
What do we ask? The questions were examples: Isn’t the movie “Lost in the Coronavirus” coming soon? If the words don’t mean anything, then the actions don’t mean anything, is everything allowed? Who are the demons that no vaccine can save us from? What’s the best way to survive self-isolation without killing each other … How do you save yourself? How can we celebrate when it seems like we’ve finally lost faith in not just Santa Claus, but even Snow White? Shame and responsibility are no longer present in everyone. Already? How will we return them?
We had hidden ourselves …
We even sent you some aphorisms from Mark Twain. He seemed to like them more …
… and we went to look in the squares …
Henry looked over the glasses again, picked up a paper and pencil, and responded as he knew how: wisely and with a smile.
We found the new geopolitical path easily, they showed it to us …
See the mass harassment!
These, from the secondary language schools, were the first to translate their new messages and turned their backs on Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius.
Others indulged in their favorite hobby …
The rest of us set out to forge a bright future …
It wasn’t difficult, it turned out that we were good leaders …
… and we are a united people …
… we quickly find a common language with ourselves!
The cleverest have developed their own business …
To the crooked left we experience the initial accumulation of capital …
We participate in massive privatization …
We have known the protests for a long time,
… but we discovered the result of them recently …
One day we realized that words no longer mean anything …
… and that freed us from ourselves …
And since we know that history repeats itself first as a tragedy and then as a farce, we are now ready to go back to the beginning (of this short retelling), but to a new higher level … Henri Kulev’s drawings are in a sequence determined by the author
