The boy contracted a coronavirus and days after quarantine, he had to stay home again, this time due to an infected classmate.

“The first time it was for his sister, then for himself, because he got sick, then he went back to school for two days and then he was quarantined again for a sick classmate, which I think is kind of bureaucratic madness. Because nobody he doesn’t care how this child will spend 30 days locked up at home, “said Boyana Usheva, the boy’s mother.
According to Boyana, the Health Ministry should reconsider its order and children who have already contracted the virus should not be re-quarantined. Otherwise, the risk of being locked in their houses for a whole year is high.
The child is presented as a contact by the principal of the school where he studies and the quarantine is valid for the whole class, without exceptions.
“Institutions should start to think of these children as individuals, and not put them in the whole unlocked class and quarantine them together, because that’s easier for them,” Boyana said.
