A series of tremors shook Croatia this morning, according to earthquake.usgs.gov.
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Petrinja around 7.28 am The depth was 10 km. Another earthquake in the same area occurred an hour later.
So far no victims have been reported. On Facebook, however, the people of Zagreb testified that there was material destruction.
There is information on social media that the earthquake was also felt in Bosnia and Hungary.
The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, has already met with the responsible institutions and the situation is being monitored.
