Attorney Rosica Draginova
Attorney Rositsa Draginova convicted RHI-Plovdiv of improper quarantine, under which she was placed, she said. The decision is of the Administrative Court of December 30.
“So far I am not convinced if he was infected with COVID-19,” the lawyer told 24plovdiv.bg. On October 6, he had contact with a friend who turned out to have a coronavirus. The next day, Attorney Draginova went to the Infectious Disease Clinic at St. George University Hospital, where she was examined and examined.
“A wait began. It was only three days later that the result arrived, which turned out to be positive. I was not in quarantine until October 11, and not from the date the sample was taken,” explained the lawyer. Not knowing if she was sick, she was quarantined until October 23. He did not appear in court because he did not know if he would infect other people. At the same time, he was not given a document to justify his absence.
Draginova filed a lawsuit over the absurd situation she found herself in. The court requested the result of her PCR, but the RHI was unable to produce one bearing the name of Rositsa Draginova.
“How can I be sure I was positive when I didn’t see anything in black and white,” she explained.
The court ruled that the RHI-Plovdiv law was illegal and ordered the lawyer to pay court costs. They amount to BGN 500, the fees of the lawyer Maria Guncheva, who represented Draginova.
