A new mutation in COVID-19 has been discovered in the UK, reports Sky News. The television channel refers to Health Minister Matt Hancock, who according to him is unlikely that the new coronavirus mutation will not be affected by the vaccine.

WHO does not plan mandatory vaccines

Before the House of Commons, Hancock insisted that the new mutation of the dangerous virus is spreading extremely fast in the southeastern part of the country. “The number of new cases infected with the mutation is higher than those of the hitherto known variant of COVID-19, with more than a thousand patients,” said the Minister of Health.

The UK is starting vaccination against COVID-19

Infected with the mutation in 60 municipalities of the country. According to health authorities, the new version of COVID-19 is similar to that found in other European countries in recent months.
