The defendant Stoyan has already been convicted of rape and kidnapping. With a verdict of the Varna District Court, which came into effect in March 2012, he received an effective sentence of 8 years in prison for the crimes committed. After he had 1 year, 4 months and 19 days to serve his sentence, he was released by court order.
After his release, Stoyan lived with a girlfriend. His own daughter often stayed at his house and stayed there for several days. On November 1, 2019, the girl returned to visit her father and his girlfriend. After dinner, Stoyan offered his daughter to smoke marijuana in his car. Later in the house he committed lewd acts with her, despite the resistance.
Then the father dragged his daughter into the car and left the town where he lived. In a dark place without light, the man stopped the car and raped his daughter. Then he warned her not to tell anyone what had happened. In front of her father’s friend, the girl had to say that they were late because her father taught her to drive.
After the violence, the 18-year-old called an acquaintance and asked him to go with his car to look for him. When he got back home, he called his friend and they went to his house.
She was very upset and decided to commit suicide. I swallowed 10 aspirin tablets. Her condition worsened and her boyfriend took her to the emergency room. There she told the doctors that she had been raped by her father.
The defendant Stoyan is currently in the Varna prison under a “Detention in custody” restraint measure.
