Numerous procedural-investigative actions were carried out, including interrogations of witnesses, inspection of the place, numerous searches, chemical and ballistic tests. Four sacks containing a total of 14 kg of marijuana were found and seized, as well as two Klashnikov assault rifles with ammunition.
Detainee HD is 35 years old from the city of Kazanlak, Stara Zagora district. You have been criminally exposed, you have been convicted a total of 10 times, incl. for theft, drugs, possession of illegal weapons, causing bodily harm, etc. He has repeatedly served a “prison” sentence.
Regarding HD, an accusation was made for the theft of 14 kg of marijuana worth 84,000 BGN, since the value of the subject of the crime was large and the act was committed in conditions of dangerous recidivism, a crime provided for in article 199 , paragraph 1, point 1. and point 4, supra article 198, paragraph 1, supra article 29, paragraph 1, b. “A and B.” B “of the Penal Code. Charges were brought for possession without proper authorization of firearms and ammunition, an offense under article 339, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code, as well as for possession for the purpose of distribute high-risk drugs in large quantities, 14 kg of marijuana. Dangerous recidivism conditions – crime typified in Art. 354a, paragraph 2, subsection 4, supra paragraph 1. Of the Penal Code. For committed by HD, theft is punishable by imprisonment from 5 to 15 years and confiscation of property. For the crime related to the possession of narcotics, the penalty is imprisonment from 5 to 15 years and a fine of 20 thousand to 100 thousand levs. For the crime of possession of weapons fire and ammunition, the penalty is imprisonment from 2 to 8 years.
Defendant HD was detained by decree of the supervising prosecutor for a period of 72 hours, and within the same period a request must be made to the court for a restraining measure “Detention in custody” against him.
