The White House last night announced a “cover” regime, a term used to inform journalists that President Donald Trump will not appear in public until the end of the day.
Republican Trump spent yesterday morning at his golf club in Virginia and was still there when the mainstream media in the United States announced the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential election. Trump then returned to the White House when the streets of the federal capital filled with jubilant supporters of his rival, Joe Biden. In many other cities, Trump supporters have protested that Democrats have committed voter fraud.
Trump’s campaign headquarters said they had filed a lawsuit in an Arizona regional court, arguing that the votes of some voters in Maricopa County on presidential election day were incorrectly rejected, Reuters reported.
The lawsuit, filed in the state’s highest district court, said polling station members told voters to press a button after the machine indicated the additional vote.
Trump claims that the vote of these voters was ignored and that this could have a “decisive” effect on the outcome of the Arizona vote. Additionally, new voting machines were used in this county.
The Maricopa Election Commission and the headquarters of newly elected President Joe Biden have yet to rule on the case.
