Attackers Wanted
A 14-year-old boy was attacked and beaten with a metal pipe and wooden stakes by two masked men. Their goal was to steal the bike, which costs more than BGN 5,000. The bicycle is not an expensive fad. The injured boy is a young hope in mountain biking and uses it for competitions and training. Now his parents are offering a reward for helping to find the beaters and the bike so their son can get back to running.
They beat an old woman for 13 leva and a bottle of wine
Two weeks ago, the 14-year-old was fifth in a prestigious mountain biking competition.
Yesterday he went cycling in a place unknown to him. A friend convinces him to hit the train tracks near North Park to try out suitable jumping spots. Crime also takes place there.
“They beat me, but I endured the bike until the end. They hit me on the back, arms, head,” said the injured child. He has bruises all over his body.

The boy’s friend fled before the attack. And immediately after the attack, he called his father.
“They can’t go on like this. They can’t attack a 14-year-old boy with pipes. This is an assassination attempt!” Says Father Ivan Kardzhov.
For our young hope in cycling, cycling is not only expensive from a financial point of view. With him, the boy wants his dream to come true.
“I want to be the first and take the World Cup,” he said.
Sofia police told NOVA that they are investigating the case. The attackers are sought.
