With their decision, the medical staff adopted rules for the treatment of patients with Kovid-19 who are on hemodialysis, have cancer, or need intensive care.

This was announced by the regional governor and president of the regional crisis staff, Dani Kanazireva.

The decision concerns the seven dialysis centers in the district, where such an organization should be established to provide dialysis to positive patients with special zones and time ranges to ensure the safety of other patients.

Another decision is that at the KOC in Plovdiv a covid room will not be opened, but zones will be established for the treatment only of bedridden patients with oncological diseases with suspected or proven COVID-19. The decision was agreed with the Association of Cancer Patients.

In order to better ensure the intensive treatment of COVID-19 patients, the Medical Staff has prepared a hospitalization schedule for severe COVID-19 cases as follows:

St. George Hospital accepts cases from Trimontium Hospital, Park Hospital Hospital, MTB and Dr. Kiro Popov-Karlovo Hospital, at Pulmed Hospital – cases from Plovdiv Hospital to Military Medical Academy and Hospital “Asenovgrad”, at MHAT “COH” – cases from MHAT “St. Mia”; at MHAT “St. Ivan Rilski” patients are admitted to intensive care from MHAT “Rakovski”, at MHAT “St. Karidad” – MHAT “St. Panteleimon” cases, and at UMHAT “Eurohospital” – MHAT “Parvomay cases ”.

This schedule is made so there is no wandering and ambulances know where to transport patients when needed. The objective is that each patient receives the best treatment, and in severe cases the necessary intensive care. To do this, additional intensive care beds are opened at the University Hospital. “St. George’s, where the majority of patients will be admitted in case of deterioration of the condition. Additional beds are opened in the Kaspela Hospital and in the District Hospital,” Kanazireva explained.

In order to facilitate the activity of designated medical establishments for the admission and treatment of COVID-19 in the district of Plovdiv, it is recommended that Municipal Crisis Personnel open COVID-19 zones / before 11.23.2020 / in the Centers of Diagnosis-Consultation and Medical Attention. centers in the territory of the respective municipality.

At the same time, by order of RHI, the number of beds for the treatment of COVID-19 in the following medical establishments was increased: MHAT “St. Mina” – by 60 (there are a total of 150), in MHAT “St. Panteleimon ”with 21 (there are 51 in total) and at Asenovgrad Hospital – with 10 (there are 57 in total).

The district governor thanked the managers of the hospitals and medical teams for the responsibility and work they are doing so far, and emphasized that the Asenovgrad, Rakovski and Parvomay hospitals are doing very well in the situation and have a good organization. .

According to Kanazireva, the Karlovo hospital will be staffed and two specialist doctors from Plovdiv will start working there.

“A contract will be signed with them, and they will receive both the salaries and the additional 1,000 BGN from the state for the work on the front line. They will also be provided with transportation to Karlovo,” he said.

Another decision of the Headquarters today suspends the coordination of the next massive events by the Regional Crisis Headquarters, assigning the Municipal Crisis Staff in Plovdiv to coordinate massive events in the territory of the municipality, taking into account the particularities of the event of character massive and the ability to ensure compliance with existing anti-epidemic measures. In the event of coordination and admission of the respective mass event, the Municipalities are responsible for establishing an organization and exercising strict control for compliance with the anti-epidemic measures in force.
