On the way back from the town of Panagyurishte, the bus that the Belasitsa team was driving crashed. The reason for the accident, which occurred 70 km from the Trakia Highway, was the driver’s illness. As a result, the bus derailed, fortunately maintaining stability without turning around. It was later established that the driver suffered a heart attack. THE FOOTBALLS AND COACHES, AS WELL AS THE ASSOCIATED TEAM, FEEL GOOD PHYSICALLY! Also present are representatives of the club’s management, Ivan Zlatinski and Georgi Petrov. The Petrich Municipality immediately sent a second bus from Plovdiv to pick up the men’s team. The mayor of the municipality, Dimitar Bratchkov, maintains constant contact with the representatives of the team. All team members who arrive at Petrich decide that they want a medical consultation and will be examined again at the hospital.
From the management of OFK Belasitsa we express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased driver.
