A Bulgarian broke his head in Thasos and this is what happened to him in a hospital in Kavala PHOTOS

A Plovdiv resident went on vacation to Greece and … suffered a lot. He hits his head on a rock underwater, he has to go to the hospital. It sounds pretty nasty, downright scary. But what the man says has nothing to do with the initial emotion. Why?

Here is his story without editorial intervention:

The day is 28.8.2020, the place of the family vacation is. Tasos. At the end of the day, the children wanted us to take them to the beach of Tarsanas, where there is a pier from which to jump into the sea. And so the children rejoice, jump into the water, and the noise of the children melts the heart! The nursery called me and I decided to teach them how to do it!

Eee yes, but the difference in height and weight …

And so, BELYA! I measured the hardness of my head with a centuries-old underwater rock! We immediately went to the Potos medical center! They examined me, they stitched me (they gave me 3 stitches), but on the X-ray the doctor suspected that I had a cervical vertebra. Immediate referral to Kavala hospital! They called the ferry and it didn’t leave until our boarding!

The Kavala hospital emergency room was what impressed me SO MUCH! Four fully staffed emergency cabinets! Since my entry, I have not been allowed to walk alone, and a paramedic has been moving me with a wheelchair! Followed: cardiogram, blood, x-ray, lavage, etc. Two sisters work at the same time! A surgeon came, looked at the X-ray image and immediately ordered a TOMOGRAPH because there is a blur on the poster!

The tests passed and I was hospitalized in neurology for 24 hours of observation! He was prepared for a possible operation if he began to lose sensation in his limbs. At 2 in the afternoon, a nurse or a doctor came to the room to check my condition: legs, arms.

In the morning they called a neurologist, who examined me for 40 minutes with a hammer, a needle and some plastic gadgets on my spine. He concluded that I was fine and had “crossed the ladder”, but one day I had to be careful!

I was allowed to leave at my request a few hours before! My doctor sent me with wishes to the reception !! Most are graduates of our medical universities and speak little Bulgarian. The cleanliness in the hospital, staff of 14-16 people for 8 patients in the ward, the attitude … I HAVE NO WORDS !!! The insurance he had given to the whole family went into operation.

From Austria they sent an email to the hospital with a guarantee of payment of ALL EXPENSES of the stay, exams and consumables. They also contacted me, with a proposal for an assistant, transportation, etc.! In the morning, call again with a question: “do you need anything?”

Hopefully one day we get everything we deserve! There is NO hospital with paid parking! They didn’t ask me for a penny!
It wasn’t there, you paid and then they’ll be returned to you.

Comments were not late …
