A 16-year-old boy from the village of Kravenik in Sevlievo shot a friend during a game, a 14-year-old boy from the same village.
The incident occurred on November 20 at around 5:45 p.m., and the Sevlievo police department received the signal. This was announced today the OD of the Ministry of the Interior.
After an investigation, the police discovered that during the game the 16-year-old boy showed his 14-year-old friend a rifle, which he fired during the game. The youngest boy was hit in the chest.
The boy was admitted to the Sevlievo hospital “Dr. Stoycho Hristov” with a superficial gunshot wound to the armpit, without affecting vital organs and without danger of death.
The police confiscated an air rifle, which was modified to fire live ammunition.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case pursuant to article 339, paragraph 1, of the Penal Code, which deals with possession of ammunition and firearms without permission and provides for a prison sentence of two to eight years.
