They were 11 days of oxygen therapy at Pazardzhik hospital
The youngest COVID-19 patient so far has been cured at Pazardzhik General Hospital. It is a two-month-old baby who spent 11 days of oxygen therapy in the intensive care unit, reported BNR.
Little Lubomir was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, with a high fever, respiratory failure and septic shock. Doctors attribute the complicated viral infection to undeveloped immunity. For 20 days, the baby was isolated from his parents and only received information about him by phone. Sometimes it is fed through a tube. His serious condition required the infusion of plasma and bioproducts combined with antibiotic therapy.
The baby is now completely healed. During his stay in the hospital, he gained 600 grams.
The two-month-old patient is now with his parents and his thanks go to the entire team that saved his son.
