Alfa Romeo announced the prices of the most powerful and fastest modifications of the Giulia sedan. The GTA and GTAm versions will be available in unique colors specially designed for them at the Stile Center and reminiscent of the brand’s racing cars at the European Touring Car Championship in the 1970s.
The Giulia GTA and GTAm are based on the current top Quadrifoglio model and have the same 2.9-liter V6 with two turbochargers. However, the power was increased from 510 to 540 horsepower.
The Italian super seats are equipped with Akrapovič exhaust systems, various shock absorbers and springs, many carbon fiber details and active aerodynamics, developed in collaboration with Alfa Romeo partner in Formula 1 Sauber Engineering.
The Italians plan to build 500 pieces of the two special modifications. The GTA will cost € 175,000, and the GTAm track with a cage instead of a rear seat, 100 pounds less weight and 0 to 100 acceleration in 3.6 seconds. In comparison, the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio starts at € 86,500 and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio starts at € 96,600.
