The number of coronavirus cases detected in Bulgaria is already 1247, MMA reported. On Saturday morning, 63 chief operations officers reported new incidents. In the afternoon, another 13 were reported. There are three more victims, bringing the total death to 55.
In this context, the National Operations Headquarters is preparing to make a recommendation for the opening of children’s walks. However, this will happen after an “experiment” in Sofia on Sunday. He explained that the mayor’s office is preparing rules for parks and gardens, developing a visiting organization, but is waiting for a recommendation from headquarters for when to let people into green space.
“On Sunday, Ms. Fandakova announced that a study or experiment would be conducted, for example, in which a visitor organization would be established and an observation would be made on whether this was being respected.“Mutafchiiski explained.
Later, the municipality, as well as Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, stated that the experiment with the park does not imply opening it to citizens, and the prohibition on walking in gardens and parks is still valid. Three more died
A further 63 cases of coronavirus were reported 24 hours a day. This is a decrease from the day before when more than 90 new patients were identified. However, fewer cures are reported. Among them is a patient intubated for 38 days.
Three more have died. These include a 95-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman with multiple comorbid conditions. This puts the total number of victims at 55. The number is 1247.
The new home in Pleven
Most of the new cases have been identified in Pleven – 19. Seven of them are the sewing company “Mizia”, which has become the outbreak of the infection. The other five are contacted by those who work there.
The situation is also worsening in Vidin, where the local hospital operates at reduced capacity due to multiple infections. There the disease was transferred to a nursing home. In the last 24 hours, 7 new cases have been identified there.
There are also two new cases of infected children: a 4-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. They have no symptoms and are not hospitalized.

Mutafchiiski did not respond if the venue would recommend a new Sofia closure for the upcoming vacation. As of Friday night, there were reports of miles of queues at checkpoints in the capital. After an attempt to leave Sofia en masse at Easter, the headquarters demanded and the government imposed a total ban on entering and leaving the city. He got up after the weekend.
On Saturday Mutafchiiski said the situation was monitored by the Interior Ministry. From there, they would report to the government.
