– They were 24, but today there are three more – 27. It is a matter of imported infections, but you know, our specialists are in close contact during the manipulations. There are all kinds of staff: surgeons, nurses, assistants, caregivers, kinesitherapists. Most have mild symptoms and home treatment.
There are also hospitals, I hope they are written three tomorrow, after they have already given a negative result. But Pirogov works normally, it has no effect at work, on patients.
– How many people a day are you looking for?
– The epidemic has had an impact, with 250 people arriving in one day, which is almost twice less than before. There are 300 patients in the wards.
– Are these your most difficult days as a director?
– These are the most difficult days for Pirogov, not just for me! I always talk to my predecessors. They don’t remember such a miracle! There have been many chain accidents, incidents. We are ready!
But it definitely compares to the train accident in Kazichene (in 1992 two trains collided, with 8 people dead and more than 50 wounded). Of course, this is a much longer period! This virus has an incredible resource!
