Milen and television: an unfinished tango

[ad_1]

His last return to the screen is as the host of the new alternative of TV1. It happens shortly before he is killed, three months before his 54th birthday.

Everyone knew Milen Tsvetkov because he had been a popular face on television for the past 25 years, but few people really knew more about him as a man because he kept that distance consciously and stubbornly.

People viewed him more frequently as a cheeky, offensive, and ironic journalist, but very rarely and almost never with

its other face, the

sensitive man

loving and gentle father,

a person who knocks down

your armor

only when you stay with your loved ones.

Many years ago, in one of his rare media accounts of his personal life, he related that he was alive as a child. He even ran away from home when he felt that his father was being unfairly punished or accused of something. The first time he decided to go to the station because he heard that he could spend the night there. His plan was perfect as long as he didn’t meet any drunk who vomited before him.

Then the rebellion of

Little Milen

finished

and returned home with his head down. The next time he decided to flee, he went to the meadows of the meadows, but there he was chased and chased by dogs, and he returned home infamously.

In fact, his first escape was in preschool. When he was out of the nursery, a young woman named Gerta took care of little Milen.

This babysitter often took him for a walk, which he liked very much.

But not always, because they were where Aunt Gerta decided, not where Milen wanted. So he decided to run away from that too. It wasn’t that easy, because she always held him firmly by the hand and wouldn’t let him go for a moment.

But it happened that once they stopped at a booth to buy Aunt Gerta stockings. She let him take his bag of money for a moment and pay for the purchase. That short time was absolutely enough for little Milen to disappear. Gerta was looking for him where he was.

There was not any of that

trace as if

had evaporated

The poor woman panicked and horrified. He ran to the nearest phone booth, called his father, and then, with trembling fingers, spun Disc 160 of the People’s Militia. All forces are mobilized in search of the little fugitive. A blue police fence detects him walking silently toward the Buxton metro area.

They put him in the sixth district and this is Milen’s first meeting with law enforcement. He does not remember whether he was molested at home or punished for this crime.

From a young age, before it was time to go to school, his father forced him to study the letters diligently.

“We were at sea and he didn’t let me enter the water until I read his book. In general

my father taught me

it’s about honest work

and good works,

which was sometimes very annoying, but all my life after that I thanked him for the lessons, “says Milen in her childhood memories.

He fondly remembers the first time in his life that he saw news on television. A moment that will be meaningful to him as a person.

Milen is 5 years old when she goes home with a broken head after playing with the neighborhood children. Tonight, with his head tied, his father generously allows him to stay in front of the television after the end of “Good evening, children.” Therefore, the future television star first saw “In the world and in our country” under the then First BNT program.

After millions of years

people will look

the same

while broadcasting Channel 1 news on the same BNT at night.

Her mentor on television is the legendary Brigita Cholakova. Tsvetkov goes to San Stefano beyond the Ku-ku student program, but accidentally meets Cholakova. He gets a small role in one of the editions of his television show on Sunday, after which he likes and offers him a job.

Many years later, Tsvetkov will say that

Brigitte’s work is

one of the biggest

schools in his life He observes their methods and style of work and then borrows some of the techniques when doing his show. For example, the phone in the studio and the live connection with viewers, which until now has been considered more appropriate for radios.

After working at TV Week, Milen Tsvetkov started at Worldwide and in our country and quickly became the face of the central problem.

It imposes the phrase “ladies and gentlemen” instead of “ladies and gentlemen” because, in your opinion, this is more correct. The public liked it, but surprisingly resigned in 1995, declaring that they could no longer tolerate censorship. He is not happy because he is being reduced in the order of the problem.

“I went to

“In the world and here”,

but it turned out that

I work at LIC

I do not want to publish in the central news Sava Hashumov reciting Damian Damianov’s poems. I respect these great creators, but there are shows for culture. The first news on the subject cannot be that Academician Sendov met with the Polish ambassador, ”Milen Tsvetkov explained her reasons at the time.

After leaving, he lost his job because at that time there was no other television in Bulgaria. His wife Dana is pregnant, her daughter is yet to be born and Milen starts working at a sausage shop in Gorni Lozen, near Sofia. He is responsible for the line of sausages and raw sausages. Sometimes he also works as a transporter for production.

“My conscience is now

clean not here

hidden – covered,

you know how much meat and how much salami comes out, “Milen said before” 24 hours. “

A few months later, in the spring of 1996, their daughter Kalina was born. Milen moved with her family to Plovdiv, where her childhood friend and former classmate Kamen Vodenicharov opened a club and suggested that she become a manager.

Every night at the same time, Milen leaves the club smoked and

goes to the department

bath

little Kalina,

after which she leaves the baby to her mother and he returns to work at the club. And there it impresses with its disgusting character and quickly wins the respect of the staff. At least those left to work with him.

“The first day I gathered them together and told them that God is tall and that the owners are far away in Sofia, so we have to get along,” says Milen at the time. There are 33 waiters at the start of the establishment. 13 people remain after the strict measures taken to account for the money. The rest go alone.

After a time he returned to Sofia and by chance in Borisov’s garden he met a journalist Ivan Takev, who at the time was doing the show “Otvuk” with Dilyana Grozdanova. Come to BNT to see us, Takev tells him.

Is there a job for me? Asks Tsvetkov and Grozdanova offers him to be a reporter. Then, in early 1997, Milen Tsvetkov returned to work at BNT. A few months later he is again presenter of “In the world and in Bulgaria”. She also directs the rebroadcast of Team 4. After that, she was invited to a new television show for Hello host, Bulgaria.

He says he doesn’t regret leaving BNT, as he did in 1995.

Then it counts on 24 hours and how a day goes by:

“I get up at 5 in the morning

I bathe, I shave,

I iron my shirt

I get dressed, I ask for a taxi and I leave. I get to the studio and read all the newspapers and news from the agencies that my coworkers have prepared.

After the broadcast until 13 am, I work with the team, we prepare the next transmission. Then I walk from Dianabad through Boris Garden, past the courts, I go home. I really like going. I go home and sleep 1-2 hours if I can.

Then I go find my daughter in kindergarten. I accompany her to the park, the garden or wherever she plays. I usually read something. Not so much now, because I’m teaching you how to get on and off the wheel. He learned to ride and even rode very well, but it was difficult terrain. So my wife takes it and I go home. I watch all the possible news and at half past nine at night I go to sleep.

Saturday and Sunday for me

there is no greater

experience of that

rise

Cherni Vrah “

This is the time when Milen Tsvetkov actually created the model for modern morning television blocks. So this format is not that popular. Milen has an explanation for this: Because people don’t have a second television in the kitchen, and in the morning for one reason or another, they are there, so they listen to the radio more.

However, he is convinced that this will change and that tomorrow’s blockades will be closely watched. What is really happening. But after three years it was removed from the screen.

His great television tango has already begun: two forward, one backward. A dance that will be tragically interrupted and will remain unfinished. After being removed from the screen in 2003, in 2004 it has

invited to direct

own show

– “60 minutes with Milen

Flowers “

Then he stops, but Milen sits in the presenter’s chair on the central theme of the Calendar. In the fall of 2005 there is a new show: “The Hour of Milen Tsvetkov”. Meanwhile, run the Nothing Personal program on Express. Then he also tries it in reality formats: he leads the fourth season of Big Brother and dances with Mira Dobreva in the VIP Dance show.

In 2009 he returned to Hello Bulgaria again, where he and Lora Krumova lead the morning block. A few months later, Milen Tsvetkov’s Hour fell off the air, and in January 2010 he was released as a presenter for Hello Bulgaria and forced to leave Nova TV. He then created a site and began working on private cable television, after which he returned to BNT in the fall of 2010, where he hosted the Team 5 broadcast. In 2011 he is back in Nova as a presenter for Hour of Milen Tsvetkov, where she remains for the next 7 years.

This is probably your longest time in one place. Meanwhile, their son Boyan was born. In 2018, he is still forced to leave television and never go back there again. He returns to the screen only in the spring of 2020 as the host of the new alternative program TV1. It happened shortly before he was killed, three months before his 54th birthday.
