It is indisputable that the Bulgarian economy cannot remain in quarantine for an indefinite time, we monitor the data every day, we do analysis. This was stated in the Panorama study by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev.

If one has to be proud, Bulgarian society is the best. I hope that as soon as the measures are liberalized, this happens in stages, Donchev stressed.

I hoped that, as a society, we could avoid the most unfortunate scenario we could enter: We are dealing with right now, but we are striving to underestimate the contagion and hit it.

Tomislav Donchev: Every time we teach difficult lessons, let’s say we are good enough students to teach them. At the epicenter of the crisis, I am not sure that it is time for lessons, but I dare to think about it.

According to him, between 55 and 60% of the economy works, the one with orders works. There are entire sectors that are currently frozen. He gave a positive example: Bulgaria will have good medium-term prospects, said the deputy prime minister. A strategic reserve of industries must remain in Europe, and Bulgaria has an opportunity, as our country has preserved similar industries, for example textiles, although on a limited scale.

Donchev defined the support of companies in crisis as a simplified system. He is convinced that for small businesses it will be of great help, with a wide possibility of what kind of costs can be covered, since our country works on a model that is applied in other countries.

Parliament can follow the example of other collective bodies and have deputies sitting remotely. According to him, the effectiveness of online meetings in the Council of Ministers has not diminished. Donchev said it is not my job to give the Bulgarian parliament shit.
