Journalist Milen Tsvetkov’s death was clearly the result of the accident, not the actions of the volunteers. This is commented to Bulgaria ON AIR by one of the leading forensic doctors in Bulgaria, Galina Mileva. She insists that penalties for drug users be increased.

Dr. Galina Mileva is a forensic doctor with 30 years of experience. It was she who was entrusted with the judicial experience of the Sarafovo airport terrorist in 2012. The medical examiner insists that Milen Tsvetkov’s death was due to the impact and that a first aid error cannot be made.

However, it does not rule out another cause of death: spinal cord injury. A high-speed rear impact gives the front car great acceleration.

As a former deputy and vice chair of the health commission, Dr. Galina Mileva has demanded stricter penalties for drugged drivers.

Christian Nikolov, 22, has been accused of intentionally causing death on the way. According to lawyer Dimitar Markovski, the difference between carelessness and possible intention is very good, as is the proof of the motive for the crime.

According to the lawyer, it was impossible to prove that at the time of the accident Christian knew that Milen Tsvetkov was behind the wheel in the hit-and-run car.
