The first results of tests of patients and relatives of the coronavirus admitted to the Silistra hospital were Dr. Silvia Slavova.
Two of them are positive for COVID-19. These are the parents of the neurologist. They were hospitalized tonight at 8:00 pm, confirmed the director of the hospital, Dr. Daniela Kostadinova for “24 hours”.
The Silisters do not hide their fear that there may be other people infected with the coronavirus, since in recent days they encountered the father of Dr. Slavova walking through the city market and meeting friends.
We recall that Dr. Silvia Slavova was the third Silistra patient admitted to the hospital with COVID-19.
For some time he was in Sofia due to his closure treatment at the “St. Ivan Rilski” hospital. He returned to Silistra on April 11, officially examining patients only on April 16.
The Silistra Health Center Press Center confirmed that Dr. Slavova had submitted a request to her that she would not examine patients between April 3 and 15.
And that it will work on April 16.
Yesterday, however, a medical examination in Silistra called possible patients of Dra. Slavova, who visited her office in the period from April 13 to 16, to present documents certifying the medical activities carried out with them to take into account when medical authorities provide adequate medical treatment. a response, in accordance with the necessary measures, regarding the quarantine required in such cases.
The reason for this was received by signs from the Regional Health Inspectorate that Dr. Slavova had been inspecting other days after the specified date. There were also patients who insisted on a home visit, said Dr. Theodora Nacheva, director of RZI-Silistra.
In addition to the initial 20 points of contact, 7 other people were identified and received opinions on various issues, and none of them have filed any complaints during the extensive interviews.
