The death toll from Covid-19 in Italy has increased by 420 today, the smallest increase since March 19, according to the Civil Protection Agency, cited by Reuters and BTA.

The country’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is expected to announce a plan for a gradual tightening of restrictions on May 4 over the weekend. However, experts caution that even if this happens, authorities must remain vigilant, especially in suspected cases of contamination, and maintain social distance requirements, the DPA added.
