Skoda has announced the name of its next K-crossover. The Czech brand is preparing a budget model and again adheres to the rule of naming crosses that start with “K” and end with “q”. The new model will be called Kliq.
The new product is known to be created with a look at the Vision IN concept car (pictured), which debuts at the Delhi Motor Show this year. It will be based on one of the modifications to the MQB-A0-IN modular platform.
The car will reach 4 256 millimeters in length and will receive two engines, with a volume of 1.0 liters (110 hp) and 1.5 liters (150 hp). The unit will only be forward. Based on the available information, we can assume that we are talking about a budget crossover with a price of one million rupees (around € 12,000).
Exact prices will be known shortly before the model launches on the market, which is scheduled for the middle of next year. Prospects for selling the Skoda Kliq outside India have yet to be announced, but this crossover will most likely not be sold in Europe and respectively in our country.
