1097 are confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria according to data from the national operational headquarters. Today, 16 more new cases have been tested, with 8 in Vidin, 5 in Kyustendil, 1 in Blagoevgrad, 1 in Yambol, and 1 in Vratsa. The labs continue to work.
270 are people with confirmed COVID-19 who are hospitalized under medical supervision. 37 are COVID-19 patients who are in intensive care units and clinics.
COVID-19 was established with 95 medical personnel.
In terms of the general panorama, as of April 23, 551 of the cases of COVID-19 registered in our country were for men and 546 for women.

COVID-19 deaths are 52. There are two new deaths, according to the headquarters of national operations. A 71-year-old man died today at Alexandrovska Hospital, suffering from acute kidney failure, ischemic heart disease and bilateral pneumonia. The patient was under ventilation. At UMBALSM “N. I. Pirogov” died at the age of 85. The patient suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes, had pneumonia.
The Ministry of Health extends its condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased.
