About 22% of turnout was at 1 pm, according to exit poll data from the Gallup polling agency. For comparison, at this point in the elections in 2017, turnout was above 25%, Yanitsa Petkova of Gallup told BNR.
Petkova clarified that so far more people of working age are voting, especially those over 30 years old. “Between the ages of 30 and 60, they were the ones who voted the most.”

“A certain percentage of people are shy about repeating their vote in front of pollsters,” Petkova added.
