The Central Election Commission is collecting information on discrepancies in the preferences on the ballot, entered in the machines for the electoral district of Dobrich. The problem is the software, reports BNR.
For one of the coalitions with the number 110 in the preferences, a candidate’s name appears below another number in the list, for the number 112 only the candidate’s name is true.
No name is displayed for another formation when pressing preference 109. The machine bulletin also lacks a “I do not support anyone” box.
The proposal in Dobrich to stop voting by machine was withdrawn after some members of the CEC opposed it.
It is being debated whether it is possible, if the machine votes there, to take into account the preference votes cast correctly.
A final decision from the CEC on Dobrich is expected later.
It was previously reported that after a series of signals to exchange names and numbers of candidates from different parties, as well as the opportunity to vote with “I do not support anyone” in the Dobrich district, the phasing out of machine voting begins: “We have signs of sections, we are gradually suspending them, we wait for the CEC to resolve, they have been notified. There are names exchanged, duplicates, the box” I do not support anyone “is missing, said DEC.
The signal to vote with a false PIN was given in one of the sections of Dobrich, the person was arrested and handed over to the prosecution.
