The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology issued “yellow” and “orange” warnings tomorrow for dangerous rainfall in most of the country.
The only exception is the Vidin region, where it will also be cloudy and it may rain, but this will not be dangerous for people and the economy.
The “code orange” with the highest degree of danger refers to the districts of Kardzhali, Haskovo, Yambol and Burgas. Heavy rains are expected there with total amounts of 40-60 mm.
In all other areas a “yellow code” has been announced and in the western part of the country it can snow.
The warning “code orange” for rain means that the flooding of properties is also possible on the transport network. There may be interruptions in the power supply, communications and the water supply network. Partial evacuation may be required. There are also dangers when driving due to reduced visibility and hydroplaning.
The weakest grade “yellow code” means there may be a small amount of local flooding, outdoor activities may need to be interrupted, and hydroplaning is likely while driving.
