A Mediterranean cyclone will pass through the country on Saturday. The clouds will be significant, cumulonimbus and cumulonimbus in the afternoon and in many places there will be rain.
This is predicted by NIMH on-duty meteorologist Boryana Markova.
There will be thunderstorms mainly in the southern regions. Before noon the wind will be moderate from the south-southeast, and in the afternoon in most of the country it will be oriented gradually from the west-northwest.
The maximum temperatures will be between 14 ° and 19 °. During Sunday night the rains will continue in central and eastern Bulgaria. Cold air will come in and temperatures will drop.
The atmospheric pressure is lower than the average for the month and will continue to decrease.
In the mountains the clouds will be significant, in the afternoon cumulonimbus and in many places there will be precipitation, about 1800 meters – of snow, in the massifs of southern Bulgaria and it will thunder.
The wind will be moderate, in the high and open parts, strong wind from the west-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 7 °, at 2000 meters, about 2 °. Cold air will come in from the west on Sunday night.
Along the Black Sea coast, the clouds will be significant and it will rain. Before noon, the wind will be from the east-southeast, mostly weak, later in the day it will intensify and be moderate. Maximum temperatures will be between 10 ° and 15 °. The sea water temperature is 7-8 °. The wave of the sea will be 2-3 points.
