If the IMRO enters the next National Assembly, it will not negotiate a government with only one party: the MRF. This was made clear in the words of IMRO Vice President Angel Djambazki in an interview for Free Europe.
According to him, the cases in which the MRF and the IMRO voted together in the 44th National Assembly are less than those in which the two parties were in opposition. According to Djambazki, the IMRO has “stepped back or to the side” (to vote with the MRF) on issues that were not that important to them. These issues, according to Djambazki, are the Electoral Law and the Law of the Judiciary.
IMRO insists that gay pride is not celebrated in Bulgaria, because it is “watched by children”. At the same time, however, Djambazki explained that none of his group members were attracted to a person of the same sex after watching Pride.
Furthermore, the MEP admitted that he dropped bombs at protesters in front of the IMRO party headquarters last fall. Immediately after the case, he denied doing so. On Friday, however, he announced that he had launched a “torch and a bomb.” He said the torch was there to allow him to see what was happening to the protesters.
